GAZIPUR, June 17, 2018 (BSS) – The Awami League and BNP-backed mayoral
aspirants will begin their official campaign from tomorrow for the upcoming
Gazipur City Corporation (GCC) polls scheduled to be held on June 26.
Earlier, AL-backed candidate Jahangir Alam collected his symbol ‘boat’ and
BNP-backed Hasan Uddin Sarker collected his symbol ‘paddy stack’ from the
regional election commissioner Rakibuddin Mandol.
Marking the city corporation election, Gazipur Peshajibi Somonnyo Parishad
will organize a view exchange meeting at Gazipur Press Club at 11 am on June
20.
