FARIDPUR, April 7, 2020 (BSS) – Awami League’s Faridpur town unit today distributed foods among 32,000 distressed families in the wake of the deadly novel coronavirus outbreak.
Former minister Engineer Khandker Mosharraf Hossain, MP, distributed foods to poor and workless people at his Afsana Manjil residence at Badarpur in the town this afternoon.
The food items were 5 kg rice, 3 kg flour, 2 kg potato, 1 kg salt, pulse, oil and soap.
Faridpur town unit of AL president Nazmul Islam Khandker Levi, Deputy Commissioner Atul Sarker, Superintendent of Police Md Alimuzzaman, joint secretary of district AL Jharna Hasan and Jubo League district convener AHM Fuad, among others, spoke on the occasion.
