DHAKA, June 17, 2018 (BSS) – Light to moderate rain or thunder showers
accompanied by temporary gusty wind and lightning flashes is likely to occur
at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at a few
places over Dhaka and Chattogram divisions and at one or two places over
Rajshahi, Khulna and Barishal divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls
at places over the country.
Mild to moderate heat wave is sweeping over Khulna division and the regions
of Rajshahi and Pabna and it may continue, said a Met office weather
bulletin. Day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country.
Country’s highest temperature on Thursday was recorded 38.7 degree Celsius
at Chuadanga while today’s minimum temperature 22.1 degree Celsius at
Tetulia.
The sun sets today at 6.48 pm and rises at 5.11 am tomorrow in the
capital.
