RAJSHAHI, April 5, 2020 (BSS) – Some 1,200 marginalized villagers were
given food support on behalf of a private company through maintaining social
distancing in the wake of the adverse impact of coronavirus (COVID-19)
outbreak.
Each of the villagers, both male and female, got a packet containing
four kilograms of rice, one kilogram of pulse and two kilograms of potato.
Sarker Group, one of the largest business entities in the city, provided
the food in two separate places in Paba upazila in the district yesterday
afternoon.
Managing Director of the entity Muhammad Ali Sarker and its Director
Ahsan Uddin Sarker, Cold Storage Managers Ruhul Amin and Syed Abdul Munim and
Assistant Managers Abu Taher and Afzal Hossain distributed the foods among
the people in need.
