BANGALORE, India, June 15, 2018 (BSS/AFP) – Overnight batsman Hardik
Pandya made a gritty 71 before India were bowled out for 474 at the stroke of
lunch on the second day of Afghanistan’s debut Test in Bangalore on Friday.

Pandya built crucial partnerships including a 67-run eighth-wicket stand
with Ravindra Jadeja to give the minnows a tough time after the hosts started
the day on 347-6.

Fast bowler Yamin Ahmadzai struck early in the morning session to take his
wicket tally to three. Fellow paceman Wafadar and spin sensation Rashid Khan
took two wickets each.
