DHAKA, March 24, 2020 (BSS) – Bangladesh Meteorological Department today predicted mainly dry weather along with rain at one or two places of the country during the next 24 hours commencing at 9 am today.
“Weather may remain mainly dry over the country having chances of rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind at one or two places over Khulna and Barishal divisions,” a met office bulletin said issued here this morning.
Day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country, it added.
As an extended outlook for the next 72 hours commencing at 9 am today, the bulletin predicted that day and night temperature may rise further.
The highest temperature on Monday was recorded 32.7 degrees Celsius in Patuakhali of Barishal division while today’s minimum temperature was 15.5 degree Celsius in Rajarhat of Rangpur division.
The sun sets at 6.12 pm today and rises at 5.57am tomorrow in the capital.
