DHAKA, March 22, 2020 (BSS) – Bangladesh Meteorological Department today
predicted that rain may occur at many places of the country in the next 24
hours commencing at 9 am today.
“Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to
occur at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna,
Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions,” a met office bulletin issued here
this morning.
However, day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain
nearly unchanged over the country, the bulletin said.
The highest temperature on Friday was recorded 35.2 degrees Celsius in
Mongla of Khulna division while today’s minimum temperature was 17.4 degrees
Celsius in Dimla of Rangpur division and Jashore of Khulna division.
The sun sets at 6.11 pm today and rises at 5.59am tomorrow in the capital.
