DHAKA, March 17, 2020 (BSS) – President M Abdul Hamid today received a commemorative post card sent by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina marking ‘Mujib Year’, the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Post and Telecommunication Minister Mustafa Jabbar formally handed over the post card with the logo of “Mujib 100 Year” and a letter of greetings signed by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to the President this evening.
The head of the state received the post card first from the premier, the daughter of the Father of the Nation, on the occasion of Bangabandhu’s birth centenary.
President’s Press Secretary Joynal Abedin told BSS that as part of the nationwide programme four crore individuals will get this card throughout the country.
Secretaries concerned to the President, Post and Telecommunication Secretary Nur Ur Rahman and Director General of the Postal Department Sudansha Shekhar Bhadra, among others, were present on the occasion.
