DHAKA, June 12, 2018 (BSS) – Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) today published final results of 37th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examinations recommending 1,314 candidates for different cadres.
Some 465 candidates get general cadres, 210 education cadres, 272 assistant surgeons, 51 dental surgeons and 316 in other categories, BPSC said in a notification today.
Among the 1314 recommended candidates, 323 are female while 991 are male. On February 29, 2016, BPSC published the circular of 37th BCS to recruit 1,226 persons.
Some 2,43,476 candidates took part in the preliminary test of 37th BCS examination on September 30, 2016. Of them, 8,523 candidates qualified to take part in written test. Among them, 5379 candidates passed the written test to appear in the viva voce.
Of them, 1314 have been recommended in the final result for different cadres.
