BCS Betar welfare association pays homage to Bangabandhu
DHAKA, Feb 25, 2020 (BSS) – The newly-elected Executive Committee of BCS Information General Betar Officer’s Welfare Association (BIGBOWA) paid rich tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman today.
The 21-member executive committee of the association paid the homage by placing wreaths at the portrait of Father of the Nation in front of Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at Dhanmondi in the capital this morning. After placing the wreath, the EC members stood there in solemn silence for one minute as a mark of profound respect to the memory of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the architect of Bangladesh’s independence.
President and Prime Minister’s speech writer (in status of secretary) Md Nazrul Islam, General Secretary Sayed Mostafa Kamal and other members of the executive committee of BIGBOWA along with the senior officials of Bangladesh Betar were present on the occasion.
