Farhad urges all to spread spirit of Bengali language
MEHERPUR, Feb 21, 2020 (BSS) – State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain today urged all to spread the spirit of Bengali language to new generation of the country.
“Bengali language is a matter of pride to us. We have to be more conscious about our children so that they can speak in Bengali language properly with authentic pronunciation,” he said.
The state minister was addressing a discussion at Shaheed Shamsuddoha Park of the district marking the International Mother Language Day and Shaheed Dibas.
Urging parents to give more books on their children’s hands, he said they will learn the history of Bengali nation and the War of Liberation through books.
With Deputy Commissioner Ataul Goni in the chair, the discussion was attended, among others, by Meherpur Superintendent of Police SM Murad Ali and District Awami League General Secretary MA Khalek.
