Three electrocuted in Ctg
CHATTOGRAM, June 11, 2018 (BSS) – Three persons, including a schoolgirl,
were killed in electrocution in different areas of the city yesterday.
Sources of Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH) said Saidul Islam,
a 2nd year student of Dewanhat City Corporation College under Double mooring
police station, 19, died from electrocution when he came into contact with a
live electric wire on Kadamtoli flyover while he was returning to his
Dewanhat residence.
In another incident, Fatema Akter, 8, daughter of Shahidul Alam, hailed
from Cumilla district, died from electrocution around 10 pm.
Meanwhile, an unidentified youth came in contact with a live electric
wire while he was working in New Market area. He died on the spot.
The bodies were taken to CMCH morgue for autopsies.
