CHESS-PRIZE-DISTRIBUTION
Prize distribution of rating chess tomorrow
DHAKA, June 11, 2018 (BSS)- The prize distribution ceremony of the WALTON
International FIDE Rating Chess tournament will be held at Bangladesh Chess
Federation tomorrow (Tuesday) at 11:30 am.
FM Iqbal Bin Anwar (Dawn), Senior Operative Director and Head of Sports
and Welfare of WALTON Group, will distribute the prizes among winners as the
chief guest.
GM Enamul Hossain Razib of SAIF Sporting Club became unbeaten champion in
the chess tournament while FM Kh Aminul Islam of Bangladesh Navy runner-up,
Sonkalan Bharati of India third and FM Mehdi Hasan Parag of Sheikh Russel
Chess Club fourth.
A total of Taka two lakh cash prize will be given to the winners. All
participants and prize winners are requested to be present at the function
before 11:30 am.
