Humayun lauds Security Forces of Bangladesh
DHAKA, Feb 19, 2020 (BSS) – Praising the Security Forces of Bangladesh, Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun today said that the forces have been recognised as disciplined and professional force in the country.
“The Security Forces of Bangladesh have earned name as disciplined and professional force in the country,” he told a seminar on Indian Defence Equipment (SIDE 2020) organized by High Commission of India at a city hotel here, said a press release of Indian High Commission.
Paying rich tribute to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, he said that Bangabandhu emphasized on building disciplined and professional Armed Forces on his time.
He also said that Bangladesh is the fastest growing economy in South Asia and is making rapid progress in industrialization.
Speaking on the occasion, Indian High Commissioner Riva Ganguly Das said that India and Bangladesh have close cooperation in many diverse areas and therefore are natural partners to pursue further cooperation in the field of defense technologies.
Representatives from twelve different Indian Firms participated in the event.
