DHAKA, Feb 12, 2020 (BSS) – Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD)
predicted dry weather with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country in
the next 24 hours commencing at 9 am today.
“Light fog may occur at some places over the river basins of the country
during early morning tomorrow” said a met office bulletin issued this
morning.
Mild cold wave is sweeping over the regions of Rajshahi, Pabna,
Panchagarh, Kurigram, Sayedpur, Jashore, Kushtia and Srimangal and it may
continue, the bulletin said.
Night temperature may fall slightly and day temperature may remain nearly
unchanged over the country.
The highest temperature on Sunday was recorded 28.8 degrees Celsius in
Teknaf of Chattogram, while today’s minimum temperature was 7.3 degrees
Celsius in Tetulia of Rangpur division.
The sun sets at 5:52 pm today and rises at 6:33 am tomorrow in the
capital.
