DHAKA, Feb 11, 2020 (BSS) – Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD)
predicted dry weather with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country in
the next 24 hours commencing at 9 am today.
“Light fog may occur at some places over the country from late night to
tomorrow morning,” said a met office bulletin issued this morning.
Mild cold wave is sweeping over Rangpur division and the regions of
Gopalgonj, Rajshahi, Pabna, Jashore, Chuadanga, Barishal and Srimangal and it
may abate in some places, the bulletin said.
Night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The highest temperature on Sunday was recorded 29.3 degrees Celsius in
Teknaf of Chattogram, while today’s minimum temperature was 7.7 degrees
Celsius in Tetulia of Rangpur division.
The sun sets at 5:51 pm today and rises at 6:34 am tomorrow in the
capital.
