ISHARDI, June 10, 2018 (BSS) – Land Minister Shamsur Rahman Sherif today
said the government is working to expand rail network across the country for
improving smooth movement of the people.
“We are taking various initiatives for the development of railway sector,”
he told a Iftar mahfil hosted by Pakshi Unit of Awami League (AL) here, an
official release said.
Sherif said, “There are huge scopes for expansion of broad-gauge rail line
because of favorable environment…. The present government is setting up
broad-gauge rail lines across the country.”

Rahman Mintu, among others, were present at the Iftar mahfil.
