Nepali FM leaves for Mongolia for two-day visit

KATHMANDU, June 10, 2018 (BSS/Xinhua) -Nepali Foreign Minister Pradeep Kumar Gyawali left on Saturday for a two-day visit to Mongolia.

The Nepali minister will participate in the intergovernmental meeting of International Think Tank for Landlocked Developing Countries (ITT-LLDCs) to be held on June 11 and 12 in Ulan Bator, the capital of Mongolia.

Nepal is one of the founding member states of the International Think Tank for Landlocked Developing Countries (ITT-LLDCs), based in Ulan Bator.

During the meeting, the member states of the ITT-LLDCs will deliberate on different thematic issues, such as foreign direct investment, information and communications technology and connectivity, according to the Nepali minister for Foreign Affairs.

The meeting is expected to provide political guidance and direction for the ITT-LLDCs.

During his stay in Ulan Bator, the Nepali foreign minister will call on senior authorities, the ministry said.
