Four marine academies to be launched this year: Dipu Moni
CHITTAGONG, Jan 29, 2020 (BSS) – Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni today said academic activities will begin this year in four new marine academies- Barisal, Sylhet, Rangpur and Pabna.
The minister was speaking at the graduation parade ceremony of the 54th batch of Bangladesh Marine Academy titled-‘Mujib Centenary Graduation Ceremony’ in Chittagong, an official press release said.
State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury and Deputy Education Minister Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury Nawfel attended the ceremony as the special guests.
A total of 104 cadets of Nautical Science and Marine Engineering Departments were conferred degrees through the ceremony.
