DHAKA, Jan 28, 2020 (BSS) – A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed today between Petrobangla and PJSC Gazprom on strategic cooperation on Bhola Island Fields Development at Petrobangla’s Board Room at Kawranbazar.
At the function, another MoU was also inked between BAPEX and Gazprom EP International B.V. to this end.
Prime Minister’s Energy Adviser Dr Tawfiq-e-Elahi Chowdhury, Energy Secretary Anisur Rahman, Chairman of Petrobangla A B M Abdul Fattah, Ambassador of the Russian Federation A I Ignatov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Committee of PJSC Gazprom, Russia, Vitaly MARKELOV, Delegates from Gazprom, senior officials from Energy and Mineral Resources Division, Petrobangla and BAPEX were present at the signing ceremony.
Secretary of Petrobangla Syed Ashfaquzzaman and Deputy Chairman of the Management Committee, PJSC Gazprom, Vitaly MARKELOV signed the MoU on strategic cooperation with Petrobangla on behalf of their respective sides
While another MoU was signed by Secretary of BAPEX Mohammad Ali and Managing Director and CEO of Gazprom EP International B.V. Sergey TUMANOV on behalf of their respective sides.
