Tabith seeks vote for ‘sheaf of paddy’
DHAKA, Jan 25, 2020 (BSS) – BNP’s mayoral candidate for the Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) polls Tabith Awal today said if elected under the party symbol ‘sheaf of paddy’, he would work for the betterment of the city.
“If am elected, I will work for the betterment of the city dwellers by ensuring the safety of garment workers specially women who are working in Mirpur industrial area,” he told journalists.
He was talking to them before conducting his electoral campaign at Kacha Bazar of Mirpur section-6.
Later, he carried out his election campaign near ECB Chattar in the capital.
BNP leaders Zainul Abedin Farroque and Aminul Huq and party-backed councillor candidates Mahfuz Hossain Khan Sumon and Delwar Hossain Khan Dulu, among others, accompanied Tabith during the campaign.
