DHAKA, Jan 20, 2020 (BSS) – Various types of cold-related diseases have
affected 5,733 people across the country in the last 24 hours.
Data from the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) control room
today showed that a total of 845 patients have received treatment for acute
respiratory infection.
Besides, 2,061 were treated for diarrhea, and 2,827 for other diseases,
including jaundice, inflammation in the eye, skin diseases, and fever.
Fifty seven deaths were reported across the country between November 1 and
January 19 due to cold-related diseases.
