DHAKA, Jan 11, 2010 (BSS) – Sikder Group, a leading private sector entrepreneur, today signed a sponsorship agreement of Taka 5 crore with Haider Enterprise in a bid to make a full-length film titled “Chironjib Mujib”, a press release of the group said.
The docu-film will be made based-on the autobiography of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Ron Haque Sikder on behalf of Sikder Group, PowerPac Holdings Limited and National Bank Limited and Liton Haider on behalf of Haider Enterprise signed the agreement for their respective organisations at Sikder Haus, Banani in the capital.
According to the agreement, the income from the commercial use of the film, exhibition and advertisement of this film will be deposited to the Bangabandhu Memorial Trust.
Chief Operating Officer of Sikder Group SQ Islam Mohon and other senior officials of the group were also present at the signing ceremony.
