Bangladesh a role model of dev: Rezaul Karim
PIROJPUR, Jan 1, 2020 (BSS) – Housing and Public Works Minister S M Rezaul Karim today said Bangladesh has became as a role model of development for many countries due to the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Terming the present government as education friendly, he said a congenial atmosphere has been prevailing in the educational institution across the country. He stated this while addressing a book distribution function at Pirojpur Government Girl High School.
Deputy Commissioner Abu Ali Md Sajjad and Superintendent of Police Hayatul Islam Khan also spoke on the occasion with headmaster of the school Idris Ali Azizi in the chair.
Rezaul Karim said students are getting free books on the first day of the year as the government has been working earnestly to check dropout of students at school level.
A total of 5,86,501 textbooks were distributed among 1,23,345 students at primary level while 16,75742 books were distributed among 1,14,986 students at secondary level in the district, district official sources said.
