DHAKA, Aug 03, 2017 (BSS) – The online application for admission into first year honors courses in different disciplines of Dhaka University (DU) under 2017-18 academic session will begin on August 7 while the tests will begin on September 15.
The decision was taken today at a meeting of the general admission committee on first year honours admission at Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban meeting room on the campus with Vice-Chancellor Professor AAMS Arefin Siddique presiding, said a DU press release.
Admission seekers can apply online from 2 pm on August 7 while the process will continue till August 29.
The admission tests will begin on September 15 with entry test of Business Studies faculty disciplines under “Ga-Unit” while admission test of general knowledge for Fine Arts Faculty departments under “Cha-Unit” will be held on September 16, the release added.
The entry tests for humanities group students under “Kha-Unit” for admission into different disinclines under Arts and Social Sciences faculties will be held on September 22 while admission test of drawing for Fine Arts Faculty departments under “Cha-Unit” will be held on September 23.
“Ka-Unit” admission test for science group students will be held on October 13 and “Gha-Unit” (combined unit) tests for science, business studies and humanities groups’ students will be held on October 20.
According to the press release, detailed information on admission tests will be published on the university’s website and through advertisements.
