DHAKA, Dec 19, 2019 (BSS) – The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has taken
a decision to bring six companies under the Large Taxpayers Unit (LTU).
According to the guideline of LTU, businesses which paid on average Taka
10 crore in VAT yearly will come under the LTU.
The companies are Nestle Bangladesh Limited, Aristopharma Limited, Square
Pharmaceuticals Limited, Nitol Motors Limited, Olympic Industries Limited and
Robin Printing and Packages Limited.
Talking to BSS, NBR Member (VAT Policy) Dr Abdul Mannan said before coming
under LTU, the companies will have to pay their dues at their present
commissionerate.
The six companies have been included in the LTU under the condition of
central VAT registration, he added.
