DHAKA, Dec 18, 2019 (BSS) – The Liberation War Affairs Ministry has withheld the list of 10,789 Razakars published on December 15 ahead of the country’s 49th the Victory Day as the list drew huge criticism over some mistakes along with earning appreciation from different quarters.
“Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Huq withheld the published list of Razakars, Al-Badar, Al-Shams and Peace Committee members and other anti-liberation elements to avoid any misunderstanding among the pro-liberation forces,” said a Liberation War Affairs Ministry press release here today.
“The Prime Minister has already given the instruction to correct the list through scrutiny. Discussion is needed with different quarters on how the corrected list can be published in the quickest possible time after securitizing the list across the country,” the release quoted the minister as saying.
There will be an effort to publish the corrected list of collaborators of the Pakistani occupation force on the next Independence Day on March 26, Mozammel said.
