CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Dec 14, 2019 (BSS) – The 48th martyrdom anniversary of
Birshreshtha Captain Mohiuddin Jahangir was observed today in a befitting
manner.
Freedom Fighters, Leaders of Awami League and District administration
officials placed wreaths at the monument of the martyred Freedom Fighter
Mohiuddin Jahangir at Rehaichar near Mohananda Bridge where he embraced
martyrdom on this day in 1971.
Ferdousi Islam Jesi, MP, Dr Shamil Uddin Ahmed Shimul, MP, Deputy
Commissioner of Chapainawabganj AZM Nurul Haque, Superintendent of Police TM
Mozahedul Islam, Freedom Fighters Mohammad Ruhul Amin, Advocate Abdus Samad,
Tariqul Alam Master and Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mohammad Alamgir
Hossain, were among others who placed wreaths at the monument of Birshreshtha
Mohiuddin Jahangir.
