Dry weather likely

DHAKA, Dec 11, 2019 (BSS) – Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD)
today predicted that weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly
cloudy sky over the country.

Light to moderate fog may to occur at places over the country during
late night to morning, said a met office bulletin issued here this morning.

Night temperature may rise slightly and day temperature may remain
nearly unchanged over the country, the bulletin added.

As an extended outlook for the next 72 hours commencing at 9am today,
the bulletin predicted that rainfall activity is likely to take place over
Rangpur division and night temperature may fall over the country.

Country’s maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded 28.7 degrees
Celsius at Cox’s Bazar in Chattogram division while today’s minimum
temperature was recorded 9.8 degree Celsius at Tetulia in Rangpur division.

However, no rainfall was traced in the last 24 hours till 6am today.

The sun sets at 5.12pm today and rises at 6.31am tomorrow in the
capital.
