RANGPUR, Dec 08, 2019 (BSS) – Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-13) arrested an addict man for killing his wife, a daughter and a son in Aponpara Bahar Kachhna area of Haragachh Thana in the metropolis tonight.
“A team of the Crime Prevention Specialised Company (CPSC) of RAB-13 arrested the killer from nearby Bahar Kachhna Dawaitari area,” said a press release issued here tonight by Company Commander of CPSC of RAB-13 Md. Motahar Hossain.
The arrested person was Abdur Razzaque, 43, of Aponpara Bahar Kachhna area of Haragachh Thana in the metropolis.
The elite force also recovered the bodies of victims Asfia Akhter alias Ratna, 35, wife of arrested Abdur Razzaque, their daughter Mosammat Reba, 3, and eight months son Rishat Babu from their house.
The killer husband, allegedly a drug addict, killed his wife, a daughter and a son last night and also tried to commit suicide by cutting himself at the neck.
The elite force immediately sent him in critical conditions to Rangpur Medical College Hospital where he is undergoing treatment.
