Elites FC emerge as champions in Bangabandhu Amateur Futsal
DHAKA, Nov 29, 2019 (BSS) – Elites FC emerged champions in the 1st
Bangabandhu Amateur Futsal tournament beating Dhaka Tribune by 2-1 goals in
the penalty shoot out in the keenly contested final held at Shaheed Captain
Mansur Ali Handball Stadium on Friday.
The final match rolled into a tie breaker after the regulation time
ended in a 1-1 goal draw.
State Minister for Youth and Sports Zahid Ahsan Russell MP was the chief
guest in the final and distributed the prizes.
Arif Ahmed of the champions team was adjudged the best goal keeper in the
meet while Intishar Mostafa Chowdhury of the Elites FC was emerged as the
highest scorers of the meet.
