Homecoming process of Hosna Akhter underway
DHAKA, Nov 26, 2019 (BSS) – The process of bringing back the Bangladeshi female worker Hosna Akhter from Saudi Arabia is underway by Bangladesh Consulate in Jeddah as per the direction of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Hosna Akhter, who went viral on social media describing her physical and mental torture in Saudi Arabia, now has been rescued by Bangladesh Consulate in Jeddah and kept at the safe-home under the purview of law-enforcers in that country, a press release said here today.
Hosna Akhter, daughter of Md Mujibur Rahman, used to work at Nazran city of Saudi Arabia where she faced immense sufferings by her Saudi employer.
Hosna hailed from Ajmiriganj upazila under Habiganj district, the release added.
