Critically injured Arpita to be shifted to DMC

CHATTOGRAM, Nov 17, 2019 (BSS) – Teen-ager Arpita Nath, who sustained serious burn-injuries in the Pataharghata pipeline explosion, is being taken to the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

Arpita is a ninth grade student of Krishna Kumari School in the city. She was severely injured in a gas line explosion in Patharghata’s Brickfield Road.

Arpita is the daughter of Kajol Nath and Moni Rani.

The gas line exploded this morning at the Kunjamni building at Patharghata.

At least seven persons died and 15 others were injured in the gas pipeline explosion.

Arpita’s mother said her daughter is fighting for survival.
