DHAKA, Nov 16, 2019 (BSS) – In the first three days at the weeklong income tax fair, a total of Taka 1,064.23 crore was collected as revenue income.
During the time, a total of 2,21,649 people submitted their income tax return while 6,76,382 people received different services, according to the data of National Board of Revenue (NBR).
NBR Member and Coordinator of the Income Tax Fair Kalipada Halder told BSS today that presence of income tax payers have increased so far at the fair compared to the previous year.
Taxpayers have expressed their satisfaction after getting required services at the fair, he added.
Halder said people are submitting their income tax return through mobile banking for the first time at the fair.
