Primary, Ebtedayee exams begin tomorrow

DHAKA, Nov 16, 2019 (BSS)- Primary Education Completion Examination and its equivalent Ebtedayee Education Completion Examination will begin across the country tomorrow with the participation of 29,03,638 examinees.

As many as 25,53,267 examinees are appearing at the Primary examinations while 350,371 students are participating in Ebtedayee examinations this year, State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Md Zakir Hossain said at a briefing held at his secretariat office on November 14.

The state minister said the authorities concerned have taken adequate measures to hold the examinations peacefully.

Among the primary examinees, 11,81,300 are male and 13,71,967 female while 350,371 Ebtedayee examinees consist of 187,082 male candidates and 163,289 female.

Primary and Ebtedayee examinations will be held in 7,470 centres, including 7,452 in the country and 12 abroad. The examinations will continue till November 24.

Ministry of Primary and Mass Education and Directorate of Primary Education have opened examination control room to conduct the examinations in a congenial atmosphere.
