DHAKA, Nov 12, 2019 (BSS) – President M Abdul Hamid today mourned the death in Brahmanbaria train mishap that killed at least 15 people and injured many others.
The accident took place at Mondobhag Railway Station in Kasba upazila of Brahmanbaria early today as Chattogram-bound Udayan Express from Sylhet and Dhaka-bound Turna Nishita from Chattogram collided.
In a condolence message, the head of the state expressed deep shock and sorrow at the tragic death in the accident.
President Hamid prayed for eternal peace of the departed souls and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family members.
The President also asked local administration and public representatives to provide all necessary assistances to the victims.
