CHATTOGRAM, Nov 11, 2019 (BSS) – The Islamic spiritual abode of Maizbhandar Darbar will celebrate the 85th annual “Urs” of great Sufi saint Mozaddede Zaman Hazrat Maolana Shahsufi Abdul Gani Choudhury Maizbhandari on November 13.
Recitation from the Holy Quran, dua and milad mahfil and akheri munazat will be held to mark the occasion at the Bhandar Sharif in Chattogram, said a press release today.
A seminar on the philosophy and ideology of Abdul Gani Choudhury Maizbhandari will be presided over by Professor Shahzada Syed Muhammad Safiul Gani Choudhury.
Former Vice Chancellor of Chattogram University Professor Dr Iftekhar Uddin Chowdhury and former Professor of Chittagong College Dr NKM Akber Hossain will be present there as the chief and special guests respectively at the event, added the release.
Olis (spiritual leaders) from different walks of life will be present at the seminar to deliver their speeches.
