DHAKA, Nov 8, 2019 (BSS) – The conference of Rajshahi District Awami League will be held on December 4.
The decision was taken at a views exchange meeting held at the central office of the Awami League(AL) in Bangabandhu Avenue here today.
Chaired by AL Presidium Member and Central 14-Party Spokesperson Mohammad Nasim, the meeting was also attended, among others, by State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam, Rajshahi City Corporation Mayor AHM Khairuzzaman Liton, AL’s Joint General Secretaries Jahangir Kabir Nanak and Abdur Rahman, Organizing Secretary Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury, AL’s Office Secretary Dr Abdus Sobhan Golap, Deputy Office Secretary Biplob Barua, Rajshahi District Awami League President Omar Faruque and its General Secretary Asaduzzaman Asad.
Terming the AL as the oldest political party in the country, Nasim said “We are going to arrange grass-root level conference in Rajshahi district ahead of the national conference.”
