Five eateries fined Taka 57,000 in Rajshahi
RAJSHAHI, June 1, 2018 (BSS) – Five food shops were fined Taka 57,000
here today on charges of manufacturing and selling unhygienic and sub-
standard food items.
District administration conducted two separate mobile courts in Saheb Bazar
and Luxmipur areas.
The courts found five shops named Bengal Bakery, Mistanna Bhandar, Imam
Hotel, Nazrul Hotel and Bishal Store guilty of making, possessing and selling
substandard food items in unhygienic condition.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Md Shalahuddin and Executive Magistrate
Jannat Ara Tithi led the mobile courts.
Md Shalahuddin said such drive against the violations of consumers’
rights will be continued.
