PM shows kindheartedness sheltering Rohingyas: Sherif
ISWARDI, June 1, 2018 (BSS) – Land Minister Shamsur Rahman Sherif today
said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina showed kindness and courage by sheltering
millions of Rohingya people who were forcibly displaced from their motherland
Myanmar.
“Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina showed her courage and kindness by
sheltering millions of Rohingyas in our country…She showed her motherly
affection and humanity,” he said.
Sherif said the world would always remember the country for the
exemplary humanity of Sheikh Hasina, worthy daughter of Father of the Nation
Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
He was speaking as the chief guest at a reception of meritorious
students on Bangladesh Sugar Crop Research Institute premises.
Handing over educational materials, certificates and crest among 250
students, Sherif urged them to build their life with proper education to
materialise the dream of Bangabandhu to build the country as ‘Sonar Bangla’.
BSB Cambrian Education Group and Weekly Iswardi organised the programme.
