Indian delegation calls on Information Minister
DHAKA, Nov 2, 2019 (BSS) – A 14-member Indian delegation today paid a courtesy call on Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud at his official residence in the capital.
Led by Speaker of Tripura Legislative Assembly Rebati Mohan Das, the Indian delegation included Tripura assembly Member Ashish Kumar Saha and Agartala Press Club Secretary Pranab Sarkar.
During the meeting, they exchanged greetings and discussed issues of bilateral interest and expressed identical views of continuing their mutual co-operation to strengthen the existing friendship between the two countries.
The visiting delegation recalled Dr. Hasan Mahmud’s visit to Agartala in mid-September this year for inauguration of 1st Bangladesh Film Festival in Agartala while he had a cordial meeting with Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb.
The Indian delegation arrived on November 1 on a three-day visit, organised by ‘Sampreeti’, a BD-India friendship alliance, chaired by Tripura MLA Ashish Kumar Saha.
