JS body for implementing nuclear medicine institute in public medicals

DHAKA, Oct 23, 2019 (BSS) – The parliamentary standing committee on the
Ministry of Science and Technology at its third meeting today discussed on
implementation of the Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences or
INMAS project at all public medical colleges.

“The operation of setting up of INMAS project is now going on at eight
public medical colleges in the country,” said a release quoting a meeting
insider as saying.

The JS committee meeting held at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban with its
Chairman AFM Ruhul Haq in the chair.

The committee also discussed on the progresses of the Bangabandhu Man-
Mandir and the two other projects on National Institute of Nuclear Medicine
and Allied Sciences (NINMAS) and INMAS.

The committee advised the ministry to take expertise opinion to improve
quality and expedite progress of the INMAS project.

Committee members Iqbalur Rahim, M Habib-e Millat, M Mojaffar Hossen,
Selima Ahmed, Habiba Rahman and Science and Technology Secretary, among
others, were in attendance.
