CHATTOGRAM, Oct 20, 2019 (BSS) – Two persons were electrocuted while
working their respective residences at Patiya and Anwara upazilas of the
district today.
The deceased were identified as Nazim Uddin, 26, hailed from Kholagaon
village under Patiya upazila and Miraz Uddin, 20, a resident of Mohammadpur
village under Anwara upazila of the district.
Alauddin Talukdar, Sub Inspector of Chattogram Medical College and
Hospital (CMCH) police outpost said youth Nazim Uddin was electrocuted while
working in front of his house at about 8 am today and Miraz Uddin was
electrocuted while cutting a tree besides an under-construction building at
Mohammadpur village at about 11am.
Both were rushed to CMCH where the attending doctors declared them dead.
