DHAKA, May 30, 2018 (BSS) – The maritime ports of Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar,
Mongla and Payra have been advised to lower signals, according to a Met
Office weather bulletin.
The deep depression over Rakhine coast of Myanmar moved Northeastwards,
weakened into a depression and now lies over central Myanmar, it added.
It is likely to move in a northeasterly direction further and weaken
gradually, squally weather is unlikely over the maritime ports, north bay and
adjoining coastal area of Bangladesh.
All fishing boats and trawlers over north bay have been advised to proceed
with caution till noon.
