DHAKA, Oct 14, 2019 (BSS) – The first-year honours admission test for 2019-
20 academic session of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology
(BUET) was held today.
The admission tests of the aspirants of the engineering faculties were held
from 9am to 12pm while the tests of architecture faculty were held from 9am
to 12pm and 2pm to 4pm in two phases.
A total of 12,161 students appeared the tests against 1,060 seats under
different faculties of the university, said a BUET press release.
BUET Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Saiful Islam, Chairman of Admission
Committee Professor Pran Kanai Saha, Director of the Directorate of Students’
Welfare (DSW) Professor Md Mizanur Rahman and other teachers visited the
examination centers on the campus.
According to the release, result of the examination is expected to publish
on November 5.
