SYLHET, Oct 9, 2019 (BSS) – A court here today awarded death penalty to four persons for the murder of child Abu Nayeem in Sylhet Dakshin Surma upazila of this district.
Judge of the Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal in Sylhet, M Muhitul Haq passed the order here this afternoon.
The convicts are M Ismail Ali of Puran Tetlee village of Surma upazila, M Mithun Mia, his brother Rubel and Bitlu Mia, son of Rubel Mia of Barthkhola Block-D.
According to the case record, class four student Abu Nayeem, son of Abdul Haq of Puran Tetlee village, was killed brutally by the convicted killers who kidnapped him on August 14 in 2011.
