Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote pays tribute to Bangabandhu
DHAKA, Sept 26, 2019 (BSS)-The leaders and workers of Bangabandhu
Sangskritik Jote (BSJ), a cultural organization, paid rich tributes to Father
of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on the occasion of the
organisation’s 42nd founding anniversary today.
As part of the programme, they placed wreaths at his portrait in front of
Bangabandhu Memorial at Dhanmondi-32 in the capital, which was followed by a
rally which paraded different streets of the capital to mark the Day.
Besides, BSJ members also paid tributes to the grave of BUJ Founding
President Alamgir Kumkum in Banani.
Apart from it, they also offered special prayers seeking eternal peace of
the departed souls of the late members of the organization at its central
office in city’s Gulshan area.
BSJ President Sarah Begum Kobori, its General Secretary Orun Sarker Rana,
Actresses Aruna Biswas, Rokeya Prachy, Nuton and Tanvin Sweety were present,
among others, on the occasion.
