Indian HC visits Dinajpur
DHAKA, Sept 24, 2019 (BSS) – Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Riva Ganguly Das today visited Dinajpur, the largest district in northern part of Bangladesh.
During her visit, the envoy visited several historical places including Nayabad mosque, Kantajeer temple, Kendriyo Loknath Mondir and Ramakrishna Ashram, an Indian High Commission press release said today.
She handed over wheelchairs to specially-abled persons and sewing machines to economically disadvantaged women while visiting a free clinic in the district for underprivileged run by Deepto Jibon Foundation.
Member of Parliament of Dinajpur-1 Monoranjan Sheel Gopal was present.
