Bangladesh Cup Archery concluded
DHAKA, Sept 20, 2019 (BSS)- The Modhumoti Bank Bangladesh Cup Archery
Dhaka stage -3 concluded today (Friday) at shaheed Ahsanullah Master Stadium
in the city’ Tongi with the domination of Army Archery Club.
The Bangladesh Army Archery Club dominated the medal tally securing four
gold, three silver and two bronze medal while Bangladesh Ansar bagged three
gold and three silver medals.
Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Prothistan placed at third position in the
medal tally with two gold, one silver and two bronze medals while Teerondaz
Sangsad collected one gold, three silver and four bronze medals.
Besides, Border Guard Bangladesh, the bottom-ranked of the medal tally,
have only two bronze medals.
Modhumoti Bank Limited managing director and chief executive officer
Shafiul Azam was the chief guest on the closing day and distributed the
prizes.
Modhumoti Bank Limited deputy managing director Kazi Ahsan Khalil was
present as the special guest.
A total of 95 archer including 65 of men’s and 30 of women’s from nine
renowned clubs – Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Prothistan, Tirondaj Sangsad,
Bangladesh Ansar, Border Guard Bangladesh, Bangladesh Air Force, Quantum
Sportiam , Standard Bangladesh Archery Club and Tiger Club took part in the
two-day meet, sponsored by Modhumoti Bank Limited and organised by Bangladesh
Archery Federation.
