RAJSHAHI, Sept 20, 2019 (BSS)- Three decomposed bodies were recovered from
Boral river under Charghat upazila in the district this afternoon, police
sources said.
Local people found the bodies floating on the river with the water hyacinth
adjacent to Boral Sluice Gate first in this morning, said Ifte Khayer Alam,
Additional Superintendent of Police, adding that all the bodies of male aged
between 40 and 50.
On information, members of Fire Service and Civil Defence rushed to the
spot and recovered the bodies with cooperation of police around 2.45 pm, he
added.
Subsequently, the bodies were sent to Rajshahi Medical College morgue for
post mortem.
Ifte Khayer, however, said the bodies could not be properly identified as
yet.
It was not confirmed whether the bodies came from the upstream river or
were dumped there, he added.
